Annie Wersching is joining the hugely popular NCIS series as Deputy District Attorney Gail Walsh.

The character is described as being intelligent, tough, extremely attractive and sexy – all good qualities! Sounds quite familiar to the casting call for Renee Walker too which is pretty exciting. Walsh will be asking the NCIS for help in tracking down a missing witness whose life may be in danger. Right now it’s a guest star role but there’s a possibility of it becoming recurring.

Wersching just recently guest starred on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as Dr. Priscilla Prescott to huge success. 14.73 million viewers turned in making it Thursday’s number one show and it posted CSI‘s largest audience since last April.
