George Lopez: You know my next guest as badass FBI Agent Renee Walker on 24. He she is, in action! Watch out. Please welcome Annie Wersching! Annie, it’s nice to meet you.
Annie Wersching: It’s nice to meet you!
George Lopez: I love 24, congratulations. You are on your second season, right?
Annie Wersching: Yeah!
George Lopez: Okay, now you have never been on a late night talk show, huh?
Annie Wersching: It’s my first one!
George Lopez: And what did you tweet to all your twitter followers?
Annie Wersching: Oh no! I think I tweeted that you were gonna take my late-night talk show virginity! *crowd goes wild*
George Lopez: It’ll be over quick. I’ll be gentle.
Annie Wersching: It’s about all I got left anyway.
George Lopez: Yeah, you’re expecting your first child.
Annie Wersching: Yes.
George Lopez: You got it all going. Wait a minute, so finally you get on a late-night show and what happened to 24?
Annie Wersching: Buh-bye.
George Lopez: It got canceled?
Annie Wersching: Yeah, it got canceled. *crowd boos* I know…
George Lopez: How many seasons, eight seasons?
Annie Wersching: Eight seasons.
George Lopez: But the show is a phenomena all around the world. Right? So this is what I’ve heard. I’ve heard that maybe they stopped doing the show, but there gonna do a 24 movie. A big movie.
Annie Wersching: Yeah, they’ve always said that once the series is over they would do a feature film, which will be amazing on the big-screen.
George Lopez: Yes, it will be amazing on the big-screen. And now, before the season is over, what is your number one priority as a character on the show?
Annie Wersching: Live to make it to the movie! *laughs*
George Lopez: I find this interesting, because you proposed to your husband.
Annie Wersching: I did! Yeah.
George Lopez: How did you decide to propose to him?
Annie Wersching: Uh, I did it on a golf course. And you’re a big golfer, right?
George Lopez: I am a big golfer. My wife proposed to me, I came home and she said “Guess who’s getting married?” and I said “Who?” and she goes “Us!” and I said “When?” and she goes “September” and I was like “Alright, let me know and I’ll be there.”
George Lopez: When was your birthday?
Annie Wersching: Yesterday.
George Lopez: And what did you do for your birthday?
Annie Wersching: Well this year, birthday celebration is a little bit different with no drinking or festivities. I played mini golf, my mom kicked my ass.
George Lopez: She did?
Annie Wersching: Yeah. I went to the zoo. It was a very different kind of birthday.
George Lopez: That sound like some boring shit, Annie!
Annie Wersching: *laughs* Hey! Last year I had a big fun crazy party, but that’s a little harder to do now.
George Lopez: Ok, will you promise me that after you have the baby, and the first time the baby has a nap you’ll take a little shot for me.
Annie Wersching: I will. Absolutely, I promise you that! *laughs*
George Lopez: I have friends at Tarina Tarantino and I knew that yesterday was your birthday. And we got you a couple of gifts. Here is a bracelet from Tarina Tarantino and here is a necklace that I want you to have. Look at that.
Annie Wersching: Oh my god! Wow. That is so cool. Should I wear it? *Annie puts on necklace*
George Lopez: It looks lovely on you.
Annie Wersching: Thank you.
George Lopez: Now you studied acting in college, and they gave you some advice to prepare yourself for life as an actor. What was that advice?
Annie Wersching: Well that looks like it may be my resume. So they used to want us to vamp up your resume so that you know.. Add different interesting special skills.
George Lopez: Oh yeah, yeah yeah, cause when people say special skills it’s never the truth. So it says “face contortionist”, Irish dancing, tin whistle. Okay, lets seem some face contorting Annie.
Annie Wersching: Are you calling me out on my special skills?
George Lopez: I’m calling you out sista! Who can you do, like people, or?
Annie Wersching: Ah, it’s just weird faces. But I can do a little uh.. I’m a little horrified that I did it on national television.
George Lopez: If you had done that face, you would never have gotten pregnant. So thank you for withholding that. I like it! Here’s what I love, I’m not sure what this is, but… Oh, this is a tin whistle, right?
Annie Wersching: Yes, it is.
George Lopez: But you play it. Gimme a little bit, play a little bit.
Annie Wersching: You know, I knew Snoop was gonna be here so I prepared a very special song.
George Lopez: Wait a minute, wait, no you can’t…*crowd goes wild* Ok, everybody, we wanna hear it. Quiet! Reserve your applause till after, please. I wanna hear this! Snoop on the tin whistle.
Annie Wersching: *Laughs* Oh boy, okay. Through my nose. *Annie plays Snoop Dogg’s “Gin and Juice” on tin whistle* Lay back!
George Lopez: You can catch the multi-talented Annie Wersching on 24 every Monday night at 9:00 on FOX. Annie Wersching!
