Chloe O’Brian: I told her what I’m calling to tell you. Samir Mehran was given a lethal injection at the scene of his capture, probably to keep him from talking. Renee thought she may have recognized one of the EMTs.
Jack Bauer: She didn’t say anything to me.
Chloe O’Brian: She wasn’t sure. She didn’t think it meant anything at the time.
Jack Bauer: Where did she say she remembered him from?
Chloe O’Brian: From her days undercover with the Russian Mob. She asked me to get her the Red Square file.
Jack Bauer: Did you pull up the file?
Chloe O’Brian: Yes. (surgeon room door opens) Jack?
Jack Bauer: I gotta get back to you.
Surgeon: I’m sorry, she didn’t make it. There was just too much arterial damage and blood loss. I’m very sorry.

The writers and producers fail to realize that this is the reason why viewership has declined. The cheap “shock value” deaths of great characters. I was hoping for a spin-off show with Renee Walker as the main character. Honestly, my love of 24 died with Renee Walker. When Jack began to cry, he took me with him I was sobbing like my heart would break. It’s not fair they looked so happy and in love, then she was taken from him. Kiefer is so good he really nailed the devastation and heartbreak perfectly.
That scene before Renee was shot, as Jack was getting up to get them a drink, I loved how she lightly caressed his scarred back, another reminder of what our hero has suffered for his country. Beautiful yet heartbreaking. Poor guy

I recognize that it’s good writing in terms of it being a trigger, and putting Jack on the personal revenge path, but don’t the writers want him to be happy? JFC, after everything he’s done, it’s only fair that he gets a happy ending, and not least with Renee, who actually understood him, who had experienced the same things he had, who truly knew what it meant to protect her country. She was perfect for him in every way possible.
And OMG, their scene in the bed, where Jack says “Promise?” and they both laugh, and Jack just looks utterly content. Such a good scene, but now it’s just too bittersweet given what happens minutes afterwards.

She might not even have known she was pregnant on Dec 3 (my third child was an August baby and I found out I was expecting on about Dec 5. The writers and especially Howard Gordon the showrunner have said that they LOVE Renee absolutely love her. This wasn’t a shock value death at all so everyone needs to shut up and stop saying things like “THIS IS WHY PEOPLE STOPPED WATCHING!”
In season 5, yes they killed people for shock value but Renee’s death is clearly going to be important for the rest of the season.
I’m just as sad as you that she’s gone. But don’t let your love for the character blind you from realizing that this was a smart decision from a writer’s perspective.
I was pissed, still am. Woke up this morning still pissed. REALLY PISSED. Not at terrorists, but at writers and producers. Kiefer you jackass, I would have rather seen all of Manhattan blow up before Renee being shot.
It was necessary because its been such a lackluster season. If Renee didn’t die, then Jack would have no motivation to save the world. The writers have already desperately tried to keep Jack in this far in his conversations with Hastings.
Basically, it was a desperate play, and if the writing was better to begin with, this wouldn’t of had to happen.
I’m in sort of “Stranger than fiction” mood where I would rather sacrifice the entire plot and logical flow of the story in order to bring her back.
I hope there’s a twist. I hope in some way, Renee faked her death so it would be easier to find the guy who assassinated her. If not, well that sucks. Renee was the best match for Jack, and a great character. Sucks to see her go, with only a few episodes left.

Anyway, I’m not pleased that Renee is dead. She was a great part of the show IMO and AW played the part very well. I would say that her death is a little bit cliche, and that the women that come into Jack’s life generally end up with great misfortune. She was a good match for Jack and the story could have played out in a different way…since this is the last season, maybe her and Jack could have rode off into the sunset together to start a new life after chasing terrorists. A happy ending, dare I suggest?

Killing her was a mistake. One of the problems with this show is that the only two kick-ass protagonists are Jack and Chloe. This show was better when it had more kick-ass good guys (but you can’t have too many). Walker was perfect. You would’ve had Jack, Renee, and Cole on the field while Chloe tells them what to do and it would’ve been awesomeness. But noooooooooo

I was pissed also. Still am. I agree with Dean and Twozy4. Mr. Gordon said that because this was the last season they were taking some bigger risks. Well, this might have been too big. Kiefer said he wanted the show to go out with a bang. Well, the only bang that’s going to be heard is the bang that occurs when the ratings hit the floor of the basement. However, I also agree with bloop. Something’s not right. She might not really be dead. Mr. Gordon said season 8 was about making Jack’s life worth living. If that’s true, then she can’t really be dead. Annie has also said that she wants to be in the movie. The episode ended with Jack crying on her face. I can just see her opening her eyes and kissing him or something like that. Also, in my TV guide, the description of the next hour has the S rating in it. You know, the one that stands for Intense Sexual Situations. So far this season, that rating has only meant one thing: Jack and Renee. If I’m wrong, and she really is dead, then screw the rest of the season and possibly even the movie. Killing her off wouldn’t matter as much if she was just some girl he hooked up with. But she’s Girl Jack! That raises her importance to the show to a level that is second only to Jack’s importance. I don’t think it would be a crazy thing to say that the show might never be the same without her. To have Jack go on a revenge driven rampage would be kind of cool to see, but I know a lot of fans won’t even bother with it. So, if she really is dead, then good job writers, you just killed the rest of the season and quite possibly the show’s future as a movie franchise as well.

ok, first off, guys, its a tv show, its not real. Renee Walker does not exist, she is a character created for a fiction television series. that being said, I don’t like the fact that the writers killed Renee either, but I have to agree, it was the only real way to get Jack Bauer back in the game. as far as he was concerned his job was over. Well now its going to become about whether or not Jack can differentiate between revenge and justice. I can see Jack going on a rampage like he did in season 1 when he thought Kim had been killed by the Drazens, but I think that Jack may surprise us again, and get the job done, the right way.
Renee’s death was heartwrenching, it was. I couldn’t help but squeeze out a tear when Jack kissed her goodbye on the forehead, but I have suspected that Renee would not make it thru the whole season alive, if there is one thing you can rely on with the 24 writers, is they love to keep you off guard. No one, and I mean no one, including Jack are immune from the sudden unexpected shocking death.

Yes, I am upset that she’s dead from a personal liking of the character, but that aside, this was STILL the wrong move, from a strictly writing standpoint. All of you defending this are just in denial. Almost every major character death in 24 was something that caught the audience OFF GUARD, it was a SURPRISE. but THIS? They practically TOLD the audience it was going to happen! Jack now has nothing to do but chase down some random Russians who killed his one chance at happiness. But who cares? We’ve seen Jack kill terrorist after terrorist, and unless this turns into some climactic showdown with Tony Almeida and the ghost of Nina Meyers, this new bad guy is just a nobody. THINK PEOPLE!
My ending of choice? Renee gets kidnapped and tied up by the Russians, Jack kicks ass to save her and after killing all the baddies, approaches her bound and gagged body, only to find she’s still alive. It’d be a complete mirror of Terri’s death in season one, only this time Jack isn’t too late for once, and things seem like they might actually work out after eight hard years of chaos and tragedy
The real shock value in Renee’s death is that she didn’t survive surgery. Everybody saw those bullets coming, but no one expected this doctor to come out of the OR only to tell Jack that she didn’t make it. It resulted in one of the saddest 24 television we know, just like Edgar Stiles’, David Palmer’s and Tony’s death. But this one, apart from being sad, also just didn’t felt right. All other major characters that passed away were played out and their deaths felt inevitable and for the greater good of the storyline. Renee’s death, on the contrary, just leaves an empty hole in the storyline, because rampaging Jack just isn’t gonna cut it for most of us.
And because her death felt so wrong and was very cliche, you would almost believe that we’re fooled. The way the doctor came out was strange and coldhearted (“too much arterial damage, I’m sorry, she didn’t make it”), almost too easy for a worthy 24-death. Then also, this russian politician Novakovic never gave the order to kill. His order was to follow them and wait for further instructions. We never knew wat those instructions were. Could Logan have done something?
But then again, these bullets came through the window and Renee looked pretty dead…Too bad, because she was one of the best female characters the show has ever had. Not only Jack fell for her, but most of the audience did. They were meant to be together and we could all see it happen in S7. We saw them fall in love and knew that they would somehow be together in S8. Things would finally be different for Jack and she was the right woman for him, so this feels a little like betrayal, after this ‘falling in love’ for almost two seasons. Considering all these Renee-topics all over the internet, many viewers are really in some state of grieving like never before after a character’s death. Again, this feels like a wrong turn…let’s await the next episode…

I’d just thought I’d add a few more things. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there’s an interview with Howard Gordon on Fox’s 24 website in the forums and it seems like Renee is dead for sure. I could be wrong, but unless they’re really trying to throw us off like crazy, she’s dead. One thing that pissed me off so much about her death was the necessity of it. I know that they killed her off to bring Jack back to CTU, but going to that extreme wasn’t necessary at all! They could have had her get shot in the shoulder, arm, or any other non-fatal area and that would have pissed Jack off enough to bring him back to CTU. But killing her?! Epically huge mistake. And to think I was saying that Fox should renew it for a 9th season because I knew Renee was coming back with a gun and because of that it was about to get good. Damn. Forget that shit now. Thank god they canceled it. After this, it deserves to be canceled. For me, that scene of them in the bed before Jack goes to get them something to drink will do just fine as a season and series finale, thank you very much. If I were Fox, I would just cancel the rest of the season right now or after the next hour airs (she might not be dead). Oh, and I really feel sorry for all those companies that purchased commercial time during the 24 finale. If I were those companies, I would demand a refund. And if I were Kiefer, I would also cancel the movie project right now also because after this, I wish them a lot of luck getting the movie to be successful. They’re going to need all the luck they can get. What makes things worse is that for me and I know some others, this also ruined season 7. I thought it would be good to add one more thing here. For anyone who wants some relief from this huge disaster, start watching Chuck. It’s very similar to 24 in the aspect of the whole Mr. and Mrs. Smith thing. It isn’t about federal agents, it’s about spies. It’s the only good show on NBC right now (maybe with the exception of the Office). What’s even better is that the most recent episode finally got Chuck and Sarah officially together. Also I can pretty much guarantee you that they will not be killing Chuck or Sarah off anytime soon or in the future because that would be show suicide. Also, the show needs all the fans and viewers it can get because NBC continues to be an idiot by keeping it in a time slot where it can barely survive (Mondays at

If you’ve never seen Chuck before, I know the show very well and would be happy to post a summary of it here to help out. As of right now, Chuck is on a 3 week hiatus between the primary part of season 3 and the additional part of it (if this just confused anyone I’ll explain it in the summary of the show if anyone wants me to). There are 6 episodes left in the 3rd season and there going to be pretty damn good. The show starts again with the 1st of the 6 episodes on April 26th.
OK, I didn’t know the time Chuck airs at would be posted as a smiley so the time is Mondays at eight on NBC.

@Stevie: Renee’s first silent clock was at the end of Season 7 episode 5 when she was shot and buried alive by Jack Bauer… I’ll be putting that clip (and all the other missing ones from S7) on the site when I get a chance.
The writers apologized for season 6 and promised better things. I am glad they could build all of this up to this gripping disappointment. I should have stopped watching this show after season 5, when it was still good. Tell me how this is good writing. Who are the characters on 24? I only know Jack and Chloe, Walker was the only other character that we the viewers should give a damn about. I now only have 1 character to connect with since Chloe is just mission support, and after taking Renee out of the equation I don’t even know why I should care anymore. I honestly wish Jack would just die now so that him and Renee could be together. Wounding Renee would have brought Jack back to the fold. 24 has killed so many characters that if the show went on another season there would be no death left to shock me. By letting Renee live, they might have actually created a unique story instead of the same tripe they have been regurgitating for the last 3 seasons. P.S. Good job with the Dana first struggling to confront 2 rednecks in the woods and then killing the probation officer, and the security guards like she is shopping for shoes. THAT MAKES COMPLETE SENSE. I could have written a better story like in the bathroom on a chalkboard with my own excrement. It still wouldn’t have sucked as bad as the last episode of this show which has been raped of all dignity and no longer has any redeeming qualities. I never bought season 6 on DVD and I won’t be purchasing this either. I thought one time they could be unexpected and give Jack a chance to be happy, maybe she would be hurt in the hospital, maybe there could be hope of her recovery. What do we have at the end of this series to look forward to? Nothing. I hope Jack dies at the end, since the only thing left is for the writers to kill his daughter and him to be left completely alone. Well at least you can’t do much to Jack anyway since you have killed the 7 people closest to him and he has no one left. You killed his Terri, Michelle, Mason, Chapelle, David Palmer, Wayne Palmer, his love interests. This is just gotten ridiculous. You all fucking suck at writing.
Why should I go see the 24 movie? What does Jack have left to motivate him? The only person left for them to kill is his daughter. I guess she is going to get sniped during the 24 movie. Maybe they can mozimbique his grandaughter while they are at it. YAWN. Will there be a CTU mole? WHAT WILL JACK DO??? Well as soon as they murder Chloe/his daughter, HE WILL HANDLE BUSINESS!! I hope the 24 movie is the greatest failure of all history and no one ever employs these hacks to write anything ever again. I made a plot mad lib for the writers.

I think the writing on this show is fantastic, as is the acting. But the storyline itself is what disappoints me. She didn’t have to die. She could have been seriously injured but would have recovered. I don’t think killing her was necessary nor warranted, especially after Hassan’s death (which was done equally well in terms of acting and writing quality). All other loves of Jack have been hurt or killed, why not break the mould for a change?

Okay lol I am going to add a little more to my other comment above (way above). To all of you people who are saying ‘FUCK THE WRITERS!” uh no, fuck YOU. Sure it was a really big mistake to kill off the greatest female 24 character in the history of 24, but the writers have put on a good show. They gave us 7 great seasons, and all you can say is ‘FUCK YOU’ all because they killed off a character? If they didn’t kill Renee, then Jack would not go back to CTU or go on a killing spree or anything to save the world. Sure I would rather see him and Renee together but the show can’t be a happily ever after. This is what happens in life, you don’t get a happy ending, and that’s what the writers are trying to do. If they injured Renee, I’m sure that would piss Jack off but he still wouldn’t go back to CTU. He would stay with Renee until she gets better. He would probably just kill the guy that shot her but he would not go on the mission again. Think about it people.
P.S Just so you know, I loved Renee JUST AS MUCH AS YOU DID, I’m just not the one overreacting about it. Although I did cry.

from reading the posts killing Renee was brilliant because you are all so pissed off. That’s what great TV does. Gets you hooked to really care. And you all really care about the character. So the writers did the biz. It’s the end of 24 this season. No way can jack skip off to happiness with Renee. When did Jack EVER get a break. Never. The show HAS to take everything from Jack and he has to find yet another way to go on. Thats the entire mythology of Jack. So having her live breaks the myth that they have worked so hard to create. It;s like letting Darth Vader life to be Lukes Happy Daddy. He has to die so Luke can face his Dark Side. So befor you hunt down the writers, first give them credit for making you care and most importantly, for furthering the never ending intensity of Jack to finding a way to go on and do the right thing when his universe is always collapsing. Shakespeare kills everybody as well and for good reason. DRAMA!!!!!! The ens of the season will be awesome…..
As a long time watcher of this show, I feel naive for thinking that Renee Walker would live through this season. Renee was a badass awesome bitch, but with the way this show has always been, I should have known that she would eventually die . 24 is basically the “We kill everyone you love except for Jack (and hopefully Chloe)” show. While I love Renee and the death may not have been necessary, it’s just the kind of show that 24 is; the tragic show where basically everyone dies. However, I am pissed off at the way the death was executed. First off, she died wrapped in a sheet. A SHEET, 24 WRITERS, A SHEET. That is really just not as dignified as it could be. Also, just throwing this one in there, she was shot by a man with the most ridiculous fake russian accent I’ve ever goddamn heard. I think Renee should have died in combat, in a shoot out. She should have died protecting or saving someone. This way she could have had one last redemption, and it would have been more heroic rather than shocking. The way this death is played, it looks like it was more for shock, and Renee doesn’t deserve a shock death.

You Know, I think it is a far fetched idea, but she just might be alive. I wonder if Chloe or someone at CTU called ahead to the hospital and told them fake her death so she would be protected from the Russians (by them thinking she’s dead) just because it would be so ridiculously ignorant of the writers to kill her off. She was such a loved character and Annie’s acting is amazing it doesn’t make sense to kill her off before the movie. Also, I was wondering if it is normal for a character that has died to have so many talk should appearances and interviews after dieing on the show (did Anil do this, or Jeffrey last year??? I honestly don’t know) However, she did look sooooo dead in that hospital and apparently it is a mortal sin to write something happy for jack that lasts more than 20 fucking minuets so…. i don’t know, I could probably talk in circles about this for days, I just so desperately want her to be alive.
I can think of a hundred reasons why killing of Renee Walker was a bad idea, but the most important one is that Jack has now slipped totally into the realm of the unbelievable for me. I mean, he was always the tough antiterrorist too badass to exist in real life, and therefore always tiptoeing that line between believable and unbelievable, but by seeing through that “Jack’s cursed and anyone he loves will die” cliche, they’ve shoved him into the unbelievable. Now he reminds me of James Bond, who I never liked – always able to save the day through practically impossible means and always with a different girl. The only major differences I see is that James Bond sleeps around twenty times more and isn’t destructive.
My second-favorite reason is that they didn’t NEED to kill her to get Jack back into action. Jack called it quits because the President told him it was all over, that the peace treaty could never happen. If she called him back up and said, “Hey Jack, we’re back in the game,” Jack would’ve jumped back in in an instant – probably, preferably, with Renee by his side.
I’m going to continue to watch 24, because Renee’s death is the only thing I wanted to strangle someone over, but I’m really hoping there’s a better reason for her death. I was planning on being the first in line to buy season 8, even though I thought, “Well, hell, I might be a starving student next year, but at least I’ll have the best season of 24,” but now I’m thinking I’ll get my favorite episodes off iTunes and call it quits for the rest of the season. Writers of 24, you better “WOW” me.

she’s gone..annie told at those interviews that Renee Walker pretty dead..the rest of the episodes about Jack avenge for her death.. i want to believe that she still alive..but i think she’s really dead..
I’m pretty sure that she’s dead. Like Wiwin said, Annie has said in interviews that Renee is dead. Annie also said that she knew the fans would be very sad to see her go but she thinks they’ll be happy with what her death turns Jack into. Ooh, that’s a big gamble, and I have to say that I don’t think it’ll pay off. The big question is: are the rest of the season and the movie going to be worth watching now that she’s gone? I don’t think so. The fact that she was Girl Jack made her irreplaceable. And like everyone’s saying, the way she was killed off was just downright stupid and ridiculous as hell. I think Kiefer and Howard Gordon may realize in the not-so-distant future that they made a huge mistake in killing her off. Being Girl Jack, she added some freshness to the show by making in Mr. and Mrs. Smith style, which the show a. badly needed, and b. greatly benefited from, but now that she’s gone it’s back to just Jack being Jack and at this point that’s a little repetitive. I’m going to watch this Monday’s hour for the helicopter chase, but after that I’m done. Kiefer and Howard may have thought they made the right decision, but they definitely just killed the rest of the season and probably the movie as well. And to oboeboy, about how you said that killing her was smart because now we’re all pissed off because we care. But, I have to disagree with that because of one critical flaw: it’s only smart or even ok when the show is still worth watching afterward. With Renee’s death, I don’t think a lot of the fans are going to think it’s still worth watching. And for what you said about this is the end and Jack can never skip off to happiness with her because he can never get a break, many fans were hoping that since this is the last season, the show would break that trend for once and actually let her live. Howard Gordon even said a while ago that this season was about making Jack’s life worth living. Well, apparently that purpose changed. For me, I’m glad I have Chuck to watch. That’s one show that probably won’t kill itself in in such a stupid way. In fact, it’s very similar to 24 in many ways with the exception being that it doesn’t kill people off like 24 does.

I’m gonna try and be objective about this as I can (even thought this was very upsetting to watch), Howard gorden (24 exec producer) explained in an interview that they had planned to kill renee in this season as they started shooting. From the writers point of view they all know how much we want jack and renee to be together and how popular renee was as a character, but 24 as always sticks to the form of shocking you and causing us upset as well as joy and entertainment. it is what sets 24 apart from other shows. and the thing that makes it tick in my opinon is bauer’s anger! after season 1 he was not in a good mood after the death of terri. which is what season 2 picked up on, season 3 picked up with bauer trying to overcome a herorin habit, season 4 he was in a happier place with audrey (but imo they never really could make it work and of course at the end he had to fake his death). season 5, he was in my opinion slightly lost with his new identity and was trying to start getting things moving forward with diane huxley. but still angry and furious at the end. season 6, hes emotionally broken after what happened in china. still angry. season 7, he is angry with the senate bringing up charges against him after all the sacrifices hes made, season 8 is probably when he was in the happiest since the beginning of season 1. and the reason why people are criticsing this season is possibly cos jack is more reserved in what he does. but now that renee is dead. the 24 writers can now show us something very special for the remaning episodes; Bauer possibly the most pissed off hes ever been!!!! now THAT is what will make me watch the final episodes, the fact that bauer is americas dark hero, the fact he will never compromise anything in his mission, and you can be sure that anybody who stands in his way will be brutally murdered or put through some serious pain in the upcoming episodes!!!
in regards to renee, she was by far the best love intrest bauer ever had.. the fans loved her, the writers loved the charcater and I can’t imagine killing her off was an easy choice. and definatley a risk the writers were taking. it would of been nice had she lived throught the day and this scene came at the end of the series. but then 24 would have a real problem trying to continue the show on into the movies.
personally i would of prefered this scene was the finale of the movie(s) but we all know that 24 will continue in the movie world until they finally kill of jack bauer!!
After seeing episode 19 I must say: What a waste…
Even without killing Renee, the plot would still advance the same way to this point.
Jack’s still not in rolling rampage mode (As he’s more concerned about exposing the cover ups) and there’s no worthy antagonist (i.e Henderson) present, not to mention the Russians seems to just sit around on their asses and not doing a thing about Bauer.
What writers did after killing Renee really makes me wonder why kill her in the first place since the whole cover-up & Renee’s life in danger could easily bring Jack back to the game without hesitation, and Ep19 will still be act out the same way with Renee sidelined.
I can’t say anything that hasn’t already been said, but it’s worth repeating. It is a cliche to kill Renee, falling in love with Jack is like falling in love \with Stringfellow Hawk or Michael Knight but these were corny cliched eighties characters, if your writing for 2010 come up \with something more original. More than that though, you’ve completely screwed over your fans, and ultimately they pay your wages. Piss them off at your peril. If this is the last series there’s was no reason to leave Jack alone, we want him to save the world then live happy ever after! She could’ve been seriously injured, making Jack seriosly pissed off, then come through it at the end. I truly am never going to watch another episode, I couldn’t give a stuff about the effing peace treaty, I couldn’t give stuff about the russians, I don’t even care if Chloe gets killed or not now (I heard she would) what I wanted was for Jack to be happy at last. You’ll have to introduce a dog in the film then slaughter that too, or maybe the baby granddaughter. Get some new ideas, or go back to stocking supermarket shelves.

tyler I agree with your comments. There is nothing and barely anyone left to watch for. If you don’t like Jack and Chloe you’re screwed basically, as Howard Gordon came out and said Kim would not be in the finale either. I would have LOVED Renee in the movie, or if not, to at least be in the 24-verse out there somewhere. Without her still in the franchise, I’m just not as interested. She did much more than just be a love interest she freshened up the whole franchise. Without her 24 and Jack are looking tired and repetitive.
In his remarks on this season in interviews I think Howard Gordon seriously miscalculated everything about the season, from Renee’s death, to the Dana mole story. I won’t be buying season 8, I have the arc with Callum, Renee and Jack undercover from iTunes and those are the only episodes I want. I guess 24 season 8 stops with that story arc for me.

I still can’t believe that Kiefer and Howard wanted 24 to go out with a bang and they still think they made the right decision to kill her off and that it would go out with a bang afterward. I don’t know what planet they’re on, but it’s not Earth. It’s going to come back and haunt them when the movie comes out and it fails.
Here’s what would have been SMART writing: Renee gets shot in the arm or leg, something that she can recover from within an hour or two, then have them both go on a quest for justice to find the sniper who almost ruined their future. That would have allowed them to show how badass they could be as a couple, which would have been awesome to watch. Jack and Renee together stopping at nothing to get justice.

The ridiculous part is that so far they could have done everything that they’ve done in the few hours after her death the same way with Jack and Renee side by side, which was why killing her was so unnecessary. And to c anne, yeah, I would have loved her in the movie too. I wish them luck getting it to be successful. They’re going to need all the luck they can get. And to think I was going to have to bury myself in 24 this season because Chuck was going to get stupid. Well, both disappointed in the short run, but Chuck finally got Chuck and Sarah (very similar to Jack and Renee, Chuck and Sarah are partnered kickass CIA spies, and Jack and Renee were partnered kickass government agents) together and 24 kills off Renee. Huh, I wonder which one wins overall and in the long run?

I’ve been the staunchest supporter of the show for EVER. I’ve watched and rewatched religiously since the beginning. You cannot even begin to imagine how much I’ve defended this show, and how many people I’ve turned into watching it throughout the years.

Right now, I want to write a 24 spin off in a “New Nightmare” style where fiction meets non-fiction. In it, Mary Lynn Rajskub becomes possessed by the spirit of Jack Bauer, hunts down the writers, and plows through their blood and guts with all kinds of nasty massacre, screams, and slow terrifying agony. I am so, so angry that they killed off Renee Walker. SO ANGRY…

Actually, if you beat the game on hardest difficulty (“Dead on Arrival” I think), it will show the ending where Mona Sax survived in the end.
Maybe there’s an alternative scene where Renee did survived…
