Jack Bauer: (phone rings) This is Bauer.
Renee Walker: Jack, it’s me.
Jack Bauer: Hey.
Renee Walker: I’ve been released. I’m free to go.
Jack Bauer: Good.
Renee Walker: Chloe told me what you did. You leveraged Hastings. Said that you would head up field ops until this crisis was over in exchange for CTU dropping any possible charges against me. I didn’t ask you to do that, Jack.
Jack Bauer: I know you didn’t. Look, someone in the White House is trying to set you up to take responsibility for the failure of our mission, and I couldn’t let that happen because you did nothing wrong. You understand me? Renee, you need to let this go. You’re not responsible for what’s happening.
Renee Walker: Yeah, okay.
Jack Bauer: Hey, I meant what I said earlier. When this is over, I want to be there for you… with you.
Renee Walker: I’d like that.
Jack Bauer: Good. I’ll have a CTU agent take you to my apartment. I’ll meet you there when this is over.
Renee Walker: Alright, Jack.
Jack Bauer: Look, I’m getting chatter over the comm. I gotta go.
Renee Walker: Okay, bye.
This was great but we need more than just one minute and ten seconds of Renee Walker screen-time!

Loovveee ittt!!! Just after Jack tells Renee he’ll have someone take her back to his apartment, she says, “All right, Jack,” and then that brief pause after that just SCREAMS, “I love you.” Yet no words are spoken. Love it love it love it!
I love how Jack’s voice softens when he realizes it’s Renee on the other end. Sigh.
Pelch I totally agree. Every scene by them screams I love you. Even when Renee cut the guys thumb off and Jack was talking to her or yelling I should say, you could tell he was doing it cuz he loves her. She brings the sweet side out of Jack. Their prefect!
this is a great scene, but i think this scene came a bit early. we’re not even half way through this season!! i wudnt get comfortable with how things are between jack and renee just yet!
Ya I agree Ed! I mean, I’m so thrilled, but it is a little too early to think everything is gonna be ok. I mean, this is 24 for pete’s sake! =) Every time that someone gets involved with Jack they die! =( I don’t want Renee to die! =(
I agree with what every one has said. I absolutly love Renee and Jack! Last season I saw how they lookd at each other. When I saw the promo for when Jack says “You have me.” i started jumping up and down. I have wanted them to be together since Day 7. And I agree with Pelch. I wanted them to say I love you at the end too.
I also agree with Dia. He is so sweet to her. Jack only got involved in the day to watch her…because he loves her. No matter how much he loves his daughter and granddaughter, his love for Renee and knowing she was coming back in to go undercover in a dangorous mission,- I think the thought of losing her AGAIN was to much he could bare. That’s why he came back in. PLUS Annie said in an interview that Renee has only one more hour of napping, then she’s back in! YAY! And- she’s got a gun. Renee is BACK!
I wish that 24 never ends, cause i really want jack and renee to get married, but first i want the kiss that we are waiting for. When i watched this scene in the trailer my heart started beating faster and faster, after that i entered to 24 spoilers and it said that “jack bauer closes in on a person of significant interest” WOW!! in that moment i almost faint.
