Jack Bauer calls Renee Walker and tells her that he killed Edward Vossler. Renee looks across the room at Vossler’s wife and child. Jack tells Renee they couldn’t have gotten this far without her and that nobody would blame her if she quit.
Renee Walker: Jack?
Jack Bauer: I got an address for Henry Taylor. 12451 Arlington Avenue, it’s a storefront, he’s being held in the basement. If you get there before I do, I want you to stand down. Dubaku’s got at least four gunmen there.
Renee Walker: Alright.
Jack Bauer: Meanwhile I’m gonna call Bill and pull him up to speed, I want you to do the same thing with Larry.
Renee Walker: What about Vossler?
Jack Bauer: He’s dead. He attacked me, I didn’t have a choice. *long pause* You okay?
Renee Walker: *Renee glances at Carol Vossler* No, I don’t think I am.
Jack Bauer: What do you mean, what’s wrong? Agent Walker, you still there?
Renee Walker: I’m not –
Jack Bauer: Listen to me, we could not have gotten this far if it wasn’t for you, okay? No one would blame you if this was just too much for you to handle. Maybe you should get out.
Renee Walker: Maybe I will.
Jack Bauer: Yeah.
