TIME AT THE TIVOLI: St. Louis native Annie Wersching, new female lead in the TV show “24,” has rented out the Tivoli on Sunday night to host a party for the show’s season premiere. Wersching grew up here and spent 14 years traveling and competing in Irish dance competitions as a step dancer with the Mayer School of Irish Dance on South Hanley Road. Wersching is a 1999 grad of Millikin University in Decatur, Ill. She plays Agent Renee Walker on “24,” opposite Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer. Another Lou native, Sarah Clarke, played Nina on the show the first two seasons. An answer to the all-important St. Louis question regarding Wersching was not available through her publicist but an stltoday.com reader e-mailed to say she was a classmate of Wersching’s at the former Crossroads High School (now Crossroads College Prep) on DeBaliviere Avenue in the Central West End.
