Annie Wersching in Cold Case – We’re Not Gonna Make It

Annie Wersching in Cold Case. Libby Bradley and her husband Carl have a conversation in their home. Carl asks if she’s leaving him for Bill and she says it has nothing to do with him anymore. Libby says she was scared of being alone, but maybe they can both make it on their own. Their conversation is interrupted when they hear a crash in the kitchen. Their daughter Helen attempted to commit suicide by slitting her wrist. Helen calls her mother a whore for sleeping with their neighbors.

Libby Bradley: We’re not gonna make it, Carl.
Carl Bradley: You can’t just walk out on our marriage.
Libby Bradley: Why?
Carl Bradley: It’s not what people do.
Libby Bradley: I’ve been doing what people told me my whole life. I’m sick of it.
Carl Bradley: (reaches for Libby’s hand) We built a life together.
Libby Bradley: No, you built it Carl. I was just along for the ride.
Carl Bradley: You leaving me for Bill?
Libby Bradley: No, this has nothing to do with him. Not anymore. I’ve always been scared to be alone. But maybe not anymore, maybe we can both make it on our own.
Their conversation is interrupted by noise of glass shattering downstairs. They rush downstairs to find their daughter Helen crying while holding a bloody shard of glass from a suicide attempt.
Helen Bradley: See what you did?
Libby Bradley: Oh my god, you’re bleeding. (grabs a towel)
Helen Bradley: You humiliated me in front of the whole world!
Carl Bradley: What the hell were you trying to do?!
Helen Bradley: I hate my life, I hate both of you! Get away from me, don’t touch me!
Carl Bradley: Helen, enough!
Libby Bradley: Give me your hand!
Helen Bradley: You are sleeping with our neighbors! You’re a joke, you know that? Just a common whore!
Libby Bradley: Helen, please!
Helen Bradley: Don’t touch me! You come near me and I swear to god, I will kill you!
Carl Bradley: Helen, put that down! (Carl subdues Helen)
Libby Bradley: I swear to god, I will! breaks down crying
